Sweet 16 Gala

Amazing evening! Amazing group of teenagers! And an amazing display of food and fun! All and al I'm a little jealous and want to know what I did so wrong around the age of 16 not to get something like this! I had been looking forward to this evening for quite some time, and it did not disappoint at all. With laughter, every way we looked, and everyone smiling and having a great time all to celebrate Kelly turning 16!

Miss M

I have watch this little beauty grow all summer and now she is 8 months! ADORABLE 8 months to say the least! With the quickest hats with leaves near by, she kept her mommy on her toes! So excited to have a little girls to photograph lately. I look forward to catching up with them again in the near future! Thank you Tanya for inviting me to do these of her, it was a complete honour!

Mr. C

This little man touches my heart everytime I see him. I was lucky enough to photography him as a newborn, and now to see all that he has done in his short 8 months, he amazes me! A special little boy that I love hearing about and seeing even more!! Mr.C is beyond adorable, and with everything he has gone through in his short little life, he is an inspiration to me, that I can do anything! Thank you Shannon and Kevin for inviting me back to capture this little man!

Moffat Family

An entertaining session to say the least! With 4 adorable kids, and great couple and a huge fall in a field, the laughs were plenty! We first started planning for this session in the summer with dates, and then as our lovely farmer husbands got busy in the fields, we had to work around them! What caring wives we are!!! And then the worry of all the leaves being gone came into play, but we got it done just in time! Thank you Krista and Chad and especially Mr C, Miss K, Miss H and Miss A!

K's for Carol walk for Cancer

With K's for Carol being in the 3rd year, I had the extreme opportunity to be apart of the walk in different ways. I was asked to take the pictures along to way to have memories as well as my oldest daughter, Dalainey wanted to come along and be apart of it. I will be completely honest. I did not think Dalainey was going to make it very far, knowing that there was a bus to ride if she got tired, but once again the little 6 year old AMAZED me and completed the whole walk on her bike.

Leaving Lucan....
With the help of the OPP and the Lucan- Biddulph Fire Department keeping us safe and guiding the way the walkers head out for the 4.5 hour walk . Over the past 3 years, the small group of walkers has raised over $23,000 to help find a cure and fight this HORRIBLE disease that needs to be eliminated and become a part of everyones past.
The K's for Carol Cancer Walk started in Nov 2008 after a co worker at Murphy Bus Lines, Arva Ontario was Diagnosed with Cancer. Carol Maslen a long time employee of Murphy Bus Lines was diagnosed with 3 types of Cancer, Colon, Liver and Lung. In 2008 the walk started with about 60 employees, family and friends walking from the Murphy Bus Lines depot in Lucan to The Arva Depot. The walk is 22.7km. The route is Lucan to Saintsbury Line to # 7 to Wonderland road to Medway Road and then into Arva. After the first walk in November 2008 another long time employee of Murphy Bus Lines Ina Finlayson (Seaforth Manager) lost her battle with cancer in Dec 2008, In 2009 Dan Middleton (St. Mary shop) sadly lost his battle and sadly in September we lost Carol. The dedication and commitment each year from all that join in their effort to raise funds to help find the cure for cancer is nothing short of amazing.

At the half way point......

Two of the most inspirational people in my life, my mom for everything she does and my oldest daughter Dalainey who completed the full 23km and who said at the end that she is not having a present birthday this year, she just wants to give money to Cancer Research.
Arriving in Arva....
Dalainey and her personal escorts who got her to the end!

The K's for Carol Walk is always looking for more participants and sponsors. Please help out this great organization as we all have people in our life that are battling with Cancer and with small steps, it is people like these that will make it possible to find the cure. For some it is too late, but for others we can make a difference, and need to do it now.
